Dearest Friends: I have been away. Transferring out of a job position and into a new one. Learning from two well known and wonderful teachers about angels, readings etc. And still dealing with my knee injury. But I am back writing again and have a few posts I am working on. This year, I will be writing about spirituality, my experiences in the spirit realm. I'll also be posting also about life in general, relationships, and lots of other things. I would love to develop a way to read more often and open up my sessions to the public perhaps in the spring. more on that later. I will be in touch with updates. Thank you! A New Way of Thinking

One thing that really helped me this year was that I'm standing up for myself. When something doesn't feel good or right, I don't accept it as "oh well..destiny" like I used to in the past. So, a few months ago, I went to a doctor who was highly recommended. Throughout the appt. I felt rushed while his outlook was very grim. The office was cold and sterile. So I went back to my primary doctor and she kept saying after I expressed myself that I'm "old school," this guy is good, and this is the way it is nowadays. I refused and I prayed and sought out another doctor for another option. Today was my appt. and it turns out, the second doctor was so wonderful, so kind and explained other options and what exactly was going on.I was really happy I listened to myself and got a second opinion. The Old Chip on My Shoulder- Gaya Lynn

I have many faults but perhaps one of my biggest faults is that I carry a big ole' chip on my shoulders. Many years ago, I used to live in a small town in Italy. Back then, I was often the only Asian at social events and outings. With an increase of Chinese immigrants, Italians often mistook me for being Chinese.... As a child, being "different" was always difficult and I had my share of kids teasing me and my sisters. Growing up in Hawaii, I fit right in but in California, at one time, there were only three Asian-American families we knew of. Because of this, I had a big chip on my shoulder and I would immediately judge others in a harsh way, fearing the worse. I have learned, however, that if I expect a certain behavior from others, I will most likely attract and find it.
